Hi there!
I’m Jan Timmers, a passionate game designer with a keen interest in Game/Mechanics Design, Level Design and Visual Scripting. I like to call myself a ‘Design Scripter’ – a designer who can use visual scripting to a great many things!
I love creating and exploring new worlds through level design, and bringing them alive with fun and engaging game mechanics. My passion and skills at visual scripting allow me to quickly prototype new mechanics and to bring life to my levels, without the need for an artist to animate or a programmer to code interactions.
Besides being a game and level designer, I am a solid all-around designer with experience in interface design, narrative design, game balancing and a lot more! I have a lot of experience in Unity and also know my way around Unreal Engine, and have also worked in a number of other engines such as Phyre and PsmStudio. I know the basics of Maya, and have experience in Photoshop as a freelance logo designer.
I enjoy working alone as much as I do working in a team, and am capable of delivering quality work in both environments.
