Team Size: 2
Role: Design Scripter
Engine: Unity
One of my favourite projects to work on was the Magnet Gun game. This was a school assignment with the goal of creating a unique puzzle mechanic, and building a number of increasingly difficult puzzle levels to support it. The project was built in Unity, with most of the functionality built using visual scripting.
The player is given a Magnet Gun which can change the polarity of magnets spread across the levels. Red magnets are negative and repel objects. Blue magnets are positive and attract objects. Green magnets are neutral, and do not affect objects. Puzzles were built around these three states, with each level drawing upon the knowledge the player gained in the last level.
My responsibilities:
- Level Design and Implementation
- Visual Scripting of mechanics
- Particle Effects
- Modelling of props
- Texturing
